I'm in the market for a Sync3, A10, PP1 mustang GT. The vehicle I'm waiting on currently currently has the brake petal defect I'll be getting it for around 45K out the door.
Another vehicle that is available is Sync3, A10 mustang GT for ~40K out the door.

Should I wait on the PP1 to get fixed, take the non-PP1, or order a 2021?

The PP1 was more important to me than the Sync 3, that being said I would wait. It won't be that munch longer.

I would wait and get what you want, don't compromise. I got a PP1, 401A, A10, Magne-Ride and would truly regret not having what I wanted. And BTW, I got the brake recall notice today.

Should I try to get a deal on a left over 2020 or wait on a 2021? I know mechanically they are they same car. Just trying to get the best bang for buck.

I you can find a 2020 with the options you want, there is no reason to wait. I wouldn't settle to save a few dollars though.

Get a cheaper 18, and call it a day. Don't let people downplay Sync 3. Not the greatest infotainment, but nothing will make your car feel cheaper than that 4" screen after a few months.

There's lots of 18-19 cars with your exact options specifications for under $40K. I just bought my 18 in April with all those options, plus leather and magneride, and the digital gauge for $40K. MSRP was $52K and it only had 15k miles on it.
