I was expecting the delivery on 1/13/2015 but I just checked cotus.ford.com and the mustang is in "transit" and the estimated delivery is on 12/22/2014. How accurate is that estimate? I'm asking because I plan to go on vacation on 12/21/2014 and return on 12/31/2014. It would suck knowing the car is at the dealership while I'm on vacation. :frusty:

I am hoping the vehicle would arrive at the dealership even earlier - before I go on my vacation. Is that even possible? :ford:

There is a pattern of arriving earlier than COTUS. Mine did the same, original EDD was 1/18/15 and now back to 12/23/14.

If there is a weather/shipping delay though it could be a few days after the EDD. There is little control over that though.

Mine was supposed to be delivered 12/14. It's been at the rail yard in Tampa (10 minutes away) since 12/8. Have no idea why they haven't trucked it to my dealer yet. Hopefully today which would be a few days early.

The only truly way to find out how long it will take, is to find out from members who have already recieved their car in the DC area, ask them how long it took, or better ask for their VIN so you can see how long transit took. It would ruin your vacation knowing your car is sitting in the lot and you cant touch it.

My EDD has been all over the place (check my signature).

Basically, don't trust the EDD at all. The car is going to show up when it shows up.
