I'll take a 2020 wide body Super Snake to hold me over.
I'd settle for any performance car for that kind of timeframe. Is there a very good reason for this?

Nope, winter is here. I also don't have time to drive a car lately, even if it wasn't winter. Back to cave now....

Bought my car Friday, part was ordered Monday. Hoping to have the part in by Saturday so I can pick it up this weekend!

In the past week, I received 2 official recall letters from Ford. The first one for the backup camera and the second for the brake bracket. The camera recall is on the NHTSA site and Ford Pass, the brake bracket recall is on neither. (???)

The important thing is that they both show on the dealers OASIS system. Go over to your dealers service department and have them look up your VIN for any recalls, If you are at the dealer they are suppose to handle walk-ins first. Once you show up and they find the recall they can order the parts.

NOTE: Parts are currently not available in sufficient quantities to repair all vehicles. Part orders can
be requested through the Special Service Support Center (SSSC) using the SSSC link at the bottom of the OASIS VIN report screen to repair vehicles that meet the following criteria only:
  • Affected customer vehicles that arrive at your dealership.

Well, add me to the list. I got the letter today. I'll talk to the dealership tomorrow when I'm there for service.

I like to disassemble things.
I got the letter today too. Good to know I tracked a car that was designed to be tracked but shouldn't have been tracked when I tracked it because it may or may not have stopped as requested when at speed.

I don't blame Ford for trying to save where they can but this was a fuck up that simply should not have happened. There are other ways to be more efficient than by inducing serious risk on mission critical components in order to increase profits. Then again, traditional economic theory has run amok as of late. If it worked like it was supposed to, carbon fiber wheels would be available for quite a bit less money than when they first used on the '15R.

No letters here yet and these recall notices don't appear to be following any real rhyme or reason for delivery.

"Tracked a car that was designed to be tracked but shouldn't have been tracked..."

Too funny, my friend.

I figured that, Chris, but what is this "..for a car I don't own anymore?"

You commented on my saying that I traded it in October. "You said so sorry." It is in my Bio. Going back to rowing, ordered a Mach 1 Full Dresser.
