I just got a call from my dealer and the part has been ordered through the Special Service Support Center (SSSC) using the SSSC link at the bottom of the OASIS VIN report screen.

Should be in by the end of the week.

How long did it take to get it installed, the service manager seemed to think it would take about 30 minutes?

No, it will take a lot longer than that. The job pays 30 minutes. You are probably looking at an hour.... maybe an hour and a half from the time you show up until it is done. Talk to any tech.... Warranty work doesn't pay what id should most of the times.

Any Ford dealer can check the OASIS for you, you just need to have your VIN available.

I contacted my dealer today, they ordered the parts and are expecting them by the end of the week early next week, hopefully it gets in before Thanksgiving and I can do my track day as planned on Black Friday at Laguna Seca without a hitch.

Well us Canadians get the shaft again, partly to do with our own questionable regulations for daytime running lights... Just looked at the app and she has 3 recalls listed...poor hind sight (rear camera), daylight vision impairment (daytime running lights) and Achilles tendon (brake pedal).

It is what it is, she's bedridden for the season now anyway. By the time you all figure out what other ailments she maybe suffering from over the next 6 months, I'll have her BS day surgery lined up so that she's ready to flex again on command next season...Cheers

I am in the same boat as Andy...... My car is in Vegas for the next (?) months. I will not get the chance to get my car in for recalls until the end of next summer. By then I hope all the issues are discovered, and behind us.
