Music volume maxes out instantly when I turn it down.

Occasionally, when I am listening to music and go to turn it down just a tad, it jumps up to full volume and is the most annoying thing ever.

It usually just happens on the highway, but did it in a drive thru today which is super obnoxious. It will do it whether I am listening to Sirius or my iphone.

Has anyone had a similar problem, any recommendations?

Mine does the opposite: Adjusting volume either way sends it to zero immediately and I have to turn it back up. I have no fix for it and not worth doing a warranty call for it.
