Mustang Racing Technologies HPMR1 Mustang Delete H-Pipe GT 15

With the introduction of a fully redesigned chassis came a totally rerouted exhaust path with features that were not present on the previous generation. Ford did away with the factory h-pipe and replaced it with a fully welded up resonator box that crosses the exhaust pulses. Not only is this extremely restrictive, but it’s also obnoxiously heavy. MRT has listened to the community and introduces their solution to this problem!

Available only at CJ Pony Parts, Mustang Racing Technologies, aka MRT, has engineered this Resonator Delete H-Pipe that easily replaces that bulky and restrictive OE Resonator. Manufactured completely out of CNC mandrel bent 304 Stainless Steel tubing, this H-Pipe will bolt-in place once two simple cuts have been made and the OEM segment is then unbolted and removed. The new H-Pipe will reuse the two factory clamps found on front and MRT will supply two new clamps to use on the rear section after the applicable cuts have been made.

Features and Benefits:
- Replaces Factory Resonator with a More Efficient H-Pipe
- Significant Weight Savings Over the OEM Resonator
- Aggressive Exhaust Note Even With OE Mufflers
- Simple Cut-And-Clamp Bolt-In Installation
- Full 304 Stainless Steel Construction with Precision Welds
- CNC Mandrel Bent Tubing Ensures a Smooth Exhaust Path and Precise Fit
- Hand Built in the USA at MRT Headquarters
- Includes All Necessary Hardware and Clamps

*This Resonator Delete H-Pipe does NOT require any welding.
*Tuning changes are NOT required for a proper installation.

So what advantages does an H-Pipe have over an X-Pipe? The most noticeable advantage is sound. X-Pipes tend to provide more of a raspy exhaust note and overall just be a bit louder. If you plan on doing other modifications to your exhaust, going the X-Pipe route may not be the right answer for you. Whereas an H-Pipe typically provides that deep muscle car sound that everyone seems to look for in there Mustang, providing more room to grow for future modifications to your exhaust system. Not only can you achieve the perfect exhaust note, but H-Pipes have proven power benefits right where you want them. Providing a decent boost in low-end torque. While most X-Pipes usually will only show an increase in power higher up in the rpm range. MRT has always recognized the advantages of the H-Pipe versus the X-Pipe and continues down that proven path with this beautifully engineered piece.
