Now I'm at choosing tires (I'm going with the gloss black Gf9's 19x9x5 all around)

BUT I know absolutely nothing about tires!

I live in Houston Tx, we do get rain here.

I don't drive fast or hard just mainly cruising and every now and then I do press down on the pedal but rarely! I do not want a thin tire

What should I go with?

Need4speed gave me some options, just wanna see what other have to say

You got a few options but here are 4 and two of which I quoted you with

Accelera 275/40/19

Hankook K120 275/40/19

Mickey Thompson Street Comp 2 285/35/19

NItto NT05 275/35/19

IMO all three are good choices and they touch a good range of price points.

the Mickeys are summer tires so you dont want to run them on Ice, but other then that their amazing tires.

If you have roads like that then you will need a all season tire like the Conti DWS tire 275/40/19 is my recommendation then.

Your factory Pirelli wont work on the icy cold weather either so heads up on that. Other rule of thumb is for ice and snow you need a dedicated tire for that, but it all depends on how bad the roads get.

im stuck on black bronze or gloss black, but the thing is i want to add vinyl stripe somewhere i was thinking matte black before but i don't know how that would look with gloss black rims ( double stripes front to back) or ( the two side stripes above front tires)

and with the black bronze I'm not sure

If your going to do stripes in matte or satin black then you want to coordinate the shoes as wells so then I would keep the standard finish for the gf9 wheels. The Black bronze would go with anything to be honest gloss or matte or satin stripes it would be a color contrast setup which is good IMO.
