oh, and I asked the shop to cut notches in the fender liner to make them functional, like a real GT350, but we ran short on insurance company time. :(
I'd still like to do that.

Looks great! Any chance you could post some pics of where the hood meets the fender at the base of the windshield, and a drivers POV over the hood?

other GT350 look options

I wouldn't mind just the front fenders. Don't need the bumper, but want that air flow out of the wheel well that those fenders look like they'd offer up.

Know how much the fenders weighed?
Hood and fenders and front fiberglass conversion bumper is available from Anderson Composites. Only part you would need to paint is the bumper. The hood and fenders are lighter than factory. The bumper is not as it is fiberglass. My fenders weighed 3.5 pounds.
Parts may cost a bit more but with less paint costs so it should be less overall.

You can look at my car on instagram aceone_performance For pictures with the GT350 hood and the slotted fenders (GT350 fenders are available from Anderson) look back at 2016 posts. I now have the TW vented hood on the car.
I can get you discounts also if your interested with the Anderson Composite parts. Just private message me for more info.

This is definitely not a GT350 front end conversion... this is a gt350 style replica kit. The real OEM gt350 parts won’t fit, unless you change the radiator support which is lower than the standard mustang. The GT350 front end is lower than a standard mustang.

So does the hood fit the OEM snout?

I'd like to just have the hood....

Since these are the aftermarket pieces, each was made to be put on independently, and work with the stock panels.
The hood looks good, but it is heavy. I installed Steeda struts, and they do hold it up, but just barely!

I regret I didn't go with the real pieces, but when I started researching this last summer, it seemed a lot more involved than hood/fenders/bumper/radiator support.
People were mentioning having to relocate the fuse box, and washer bottle, too.
I was also worried moving my ACC sensor might screw that up. My auto and ACC are the only reason I didn't just go buy a used GT350.

Yes, the title here is a bit misleading by calling it a "conversion". Where it really counts is on the MrBodykit website, and they denote it as "GT350 style".

If I did this, I think I would only want the front end part. Wonder if the kit would let me keep my current hood and fenders. Tho, a few more rock chips and I may go find out. 3 years on the road and you start to notice more nicks than I care to see.

It looks real nice, but I have to be honest I don't like when owners go to lengths to make their cars appear to be something it is not. I know I know I should chill out. It's the same as me slapping a R spoiler, red badges and carbon fiber wheels on mine.
