Afternoon everyone,
Was just curious what everyone is seeing on the MPG's with the 5.0 V8. I recently bought a used GT Premium convertible (Auto-10 Speed) and have been very impressed and happy with the car. It is my daily driver and I have parked my full size truck that I was driving as result. I expected my Mustang to be better then my truck on gas and it is. (Older Silverado Truck) I bought the car in Alabama and live in Southern Indiana and got 30 MPG on the highway driving home at well over 350 miles on the highway driving between 75-85 mph. Around town I am seeing on average around 18 MPG. I will admit that my commute to work is short with not a lot of traffic but even then, the in town miles are still an aggregate of short and long runs around town (over 300 miles) with minimal highway or freeway runs to various destinations. Again just curious as I didn't buy the car for economy and am almost shocked of how well the gas economy is.
Obviously proportional to how heavy the foot is
