Motor Trend is currently testing the New 2020 Corvette C8.

Unconfirmed test said it went 0-60MPH in 3.17 seconds.

Still blistering fast but I was hoping for sub 3 seconds. I'll wait for the actual article to be released.

But anything sub 3.3 would be amazingly quick.

BTW, this car sounds terrible off the Launch. Like a friggin lawnmower.

If only they could make this sound like a Shelby GT350R.

It looks "okay" Still not crazy about it. Maybe because it hasn't grown on me yet,....I don't know.
ESPECIALLY the rear end and the interior. Horrendous in my opinion. That center control strip is stupid looking and that retarded looking steering wheel. lol

I loved it at first but now the front end doesn't sit low enough and I agree the rear and interior look just ok at best. Maybe it just looks different knowing it will never have a manual!

Gee and yet NONE of the magazines or automedia reviewers have got to review the GT500 yet.

I keep saying the GT500 is a trainwreck from a marketing stand point but any negative comments about the GT500 sure seem to ruffle everyones panties!!

That's the ECU cutting spark/fuel to keep the RPM at the pre-set. The engine would sound just fine if the driver could manage to hold a steady RPM on his own skill. Have you heard an ecoboost in LC mode? cripes it sounds atrocious.
