So I was at my dealer today to get my wife's car serviced. They did not have a single new Mustang to show but I did fine these used values.

That is hilarious. That 2019 GT Premium doesn't say it is even a PP1. Even if it is here is my window sticker for my '19. That's highway robbery.

This is why I bought my first brand new 2021 last week when I traded in my 2017. I bought the new one for a few grand less than an identical equipped used one. Ridiculous right now

I normally buy a new car every two years. The dezlers have ruined any desire for me to buy a new car. Not remotely interested in used from a dealer. Not only do they show their greed with those prices, but then they throw document charges on top of the sale. Some charge up to a grand in doc fees.

My problem I guess is, I'm not rich and see the foolishness of paying Add on window sticker prices and such.

The used car prices we're going through, although they may be settling a bit, are a perfect opportunity to upgrade your car.

Need a little patience in terms of getting your order delivered, but you get a new model with a few upgrades for little to no money out of pocket.

You can buy my 2020 HPP EB for $34,900, original sticker was $34,500 and it had about 7500 miles on it. Got $27,000 for it, couldn't get more for the trade since employees can't cheat the system >:(

Also saw a relatively nice/well optioned probably '13-'16 F250/350 stickered at $85k....what the šŸ¤¬.

That's why I ended up ordering new. Been saving and planning for years and the pandemic happened. Couldn't justify $32k for a car 5 years old with miles when I could have new for $37. Here's hoping she gets here by June.

...every car of mine that I have checked on Carvana, CarMax and Vroom, the
Vroom offer was higher by $4 to $5,000 bucks.
I checked last week and vroom offered me $37+ for my '21 GT PP1.
Now, even Carvana was higher by $4000...........
Two months ago vroom offered around $46+; I guess they are trying to make
up for overpaying on a lot of cars

If people stopped being so greedy and slowed down buying them, the prices would go down.

Guess everyone thinks they are rich in America now.

The prices arenā€™t ridiculous if somebody will pay them, or worst case scenario for the dealer at least take them seriously as a jumping off point for negotiating. The dealers are there to actually sell cars, not curate them.

Hard to say whoā€™s the bigger offender here, the dealers or the fools who actually succumb to this sort of treatment. Neither could exist without the other.
