Has anyone installed an MMR CMCV/IMRC Lockout Kit on a 2019 GT350 intake manifold? I currently have my IM off of the car and would like to remove all the crap off the back of it to clean it up and make more room for my MMR Head Oiling and Cooling Mods.

I currently have an nGauge with great running Lund tunes for 93, Flex E85 and Nitrous and was wondering if it‘s even worth it to fool with this, given the need for a retune which is obviously an extra expense. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You won't gain anything, you won't lose anything.

If the cost of a re-tune is worth it for better underhood looks....

However zip ties work just as well as any lock out kit and cannot be seen when the manifold is installed.

If your HCM works with the IMRCs back there, I would just leave em. Could also add some hose length to the HCM pretty easily and not need a retune for the IMRCs

I decided to pull IMRC components from my intake manifold and install an MMR lockout kit for the 2015-2017 GT350 on my 2019 Bullitt. I have to admit, it will be nice to have the rear of the engine bay look a little less cluttered.

With that being said, I did have to slightly modify the right MMR lockout/IMRC linkage because the lockout would rest on the ball portion of the linkage and prevent the screw hole from lining up. In addition, I had to enlarge the hole in the lockout that the IMRC shaft fits through, because the shaft threads stuck out beyond the nut and wouldn't allow it to seat properly. What I did here was use a step drill bit to enlarge the hole to 1/4” and 3/16” deep (to fit over the threads). Everything lined up perfectly with these minor tweaks. Just an FYI, in case someone else buys them and wonders why the right side doesn’t fit properly. It’s an easy fix and one that you can’t even see.
