Mishi Tube / K&N Filter / Pypes Mufflers / PBD E85 Tune: Dyno Results

It's been a few months. I apparently forgot to share this.

Spent a few hours on the dyno testing various parts a while back, and was pretty happy with what this Mishi / K&N combo made.

-Mishi Intake Tube
-K&N Panel Filter
-Pypes Touring Mufflers
-Palm Beach Dyno E85 "Mail Order" Tune

Didn't touch the tune, this was the base tune I have run since I got the car brand new. :cheers:

Stock. I think the car made like 376 IIRC.

So a solid 40+whp is what I suspect I gained with the few mods, e85 and tune.

Cool. I have a very similar setup so would expect about the same minus some auto losses.

Well the car has been 118.1 mph in the 1/4 - and it made 430 uncorrected. So the math is there.

Have you had a chance to get some 1/4 passes in?

Not yet this year... I vowed last fall not to run at the track again until get some drag radials on it. Spinning all over the place through 3rd... Ran 12.60 something at 114 pedaling and spinning through 3rd.

So essentially the only physical power mods are the Mishi tube and K&N filter! Maf tube is still stock one so stock size?

Great results, can see this being a very effective mod for upcoming MY18 and can see 10-speed ones maybe crossing line over 120mph with same mods as yours.

I removed the emissions carbon trap piece out of the airbox, and ground the tabs that held it on down flat.

Yes, stock airbox / MAF other than what I mentioned above about removing the carbon trap element.

I have had a few people say there is no way. Not really sure why they would say that, as the #'s seem dead on where they should be. Best MPH is 118.1 and here is an [email protected] vid.
