We have the minimum drop springs if you aren't looking for much of a drop:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-8223-s550-minimum-drop-lowering-springs -
  • Lowers your S550 Mustang Convertible 0.75"
There is also the Strut Tower Brace, swaybars, and IRS fixings that can help support the Convertible - this is what we did to the White Carbon Edition for inspiration!

The Steeda ProActive shocks and struts have patented frequency selective damping technology to address needs specific to the S550 Mustang.

Unlike typical performance shocks that offer firmer dampening, these units provide more control on rough surfaces by maintaining constant tire contact with the road surface.

They do a great job of getting rid of harshness when going over bumps at low speeds and the eliminate the ‘floaty’ feeling the car has at highway speeds.

Combined with a set of Steeda lowering springs, the combo is the ultimate highway driving experience with amazing comfort and stable control.

Thanks Tim,

Would you be able to specifically list the "IRS fixings" you elude to? I have a 2020 5.0 vert and am looking for such a list to consider. Already purchased and installed the Eibach Pro springs from you guys and looking to do more.

Thanks!

John

Yes - we did the following:

Vertical Links
IRS bushing support system
IRS Alignment Kit
Rear Swaybar

555-4437 - Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support System
555-4438 - Steeda IRS Subframe Alignment Kit
Vertical links - https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-billet-aluminum-vertical-links-2015-all-555-4121.html

The IRS braces will not work on the convertible because of the additional braces.

I have the fixed pro actions and other goodies - but not specific to the rear end. The car is firm and planted. With the updated tune and CAI - it can get loose but doesn't hop - that's only if I bury the throttle.

What kind of lube should be that is mentioned in the instruction?

So are these not the linear minimum drop springs? The website and your spring guide says .5 inches at all corners but wouldn't a Vert require a spacer with the increased rear weight?

We did some testing & different combinations on the White Carbon Edition - we started with the Dual Rate Springs & the Active Shocks and Struts. The Michigan roads yielded better results with the Fixed Pro Actions & the Dual Rates. So we have been running those for the past 2 years.

The car currently is running the dual rates & the fixed - we were going to run the progressives at some point but we didn't end up putting them on the car.

Thanks Tim!!

I'm heading to West Palm Beach next week to visit a friend. Was thinking about visiting your location in Pompano beach. Am I able to purchase parts there? Hoping you'll say no otherwise it's going to cost me :)

Cheers,

John

Yes - we have a select number of parts on hand but can send some from Valdosta if you are going to be in the area :) ... what are you looking to pick up? I can have Rodney bring his convertible one of those days & you can see what he has done to it - shoot me an email & we can connect with Rod!

Sounds great TJ and will let you know a couple dates for next week via email to see if they work when I know my schedule better.
Considering the following:
- A white Steeda shift knob 203 E226ULSI20
- Steeda Vertical links (poly) 555-4129
- the IRS bushing and alignment kit 555-4450

Look forward to meeting up and seeing Rod's vert...

John
