Gt500 are 20", no confusion on that compound

I understand, I’m just saying Ford puts an FP on the tires designed specifically for a car and want to see if he has an FP on his.Gt500 are 20", no confusion on that compound
Thank you for the clarification. I did not realize the gt350 non r’s were 35 seriesTires sometimes have regional pricing and availability it seems. Not certain that’s what is happening but possible.
the Mach one uses same compound as the 350R, and same sizes. The fp versions were 35 series and for the non R 2019 and 2020 cars.
Mine do not have “FP”.Take a look at this picture. Do you have this FP on your tires. When I was at the GT500 Track Tour last summer this it what Ford identifies as the special tire designed for the GT500. I took a picture of what they were talking about and the display board indicating it in writing, time G circled in RED. Now I don’t know if the Mach 1 had “FP” designated tires but take a look at your tires, do you have this FP?
Interesting discussion. I find the whole system of labeling around the different compounds confusing and opaque. Regardless, I bought a 35 mile set pulled off a GT350R just down the road from you off the forums for $1100 last year. Seems like the going rate. GLWTSMine do not have “FP”.
I’m not sure why tirerack is so much more expensive for what now appear to be the same tires. I have never run into that before. I will update my original post regarding pricing.
thanks for confirming what I said in #4 reply. I see at least the OP lowered from $1700 to $1400.Interesting discussion. Seems to me the problem with tires is you really need a local sale otherwise shipping makes it uncompetitive.thanks for confirming what I said in #4 reply. I see at least the OP lowered from $1700 to $1400.
yes and no, I've bought plenty of sets and had them shipped for under $1200, it really depends on distance for shipping. The demand is pretty low for these and it does no good to sit on them especially if you can't store them above freezing. It really benefits guys like me stocking up on them because I run them on the track.Seems to me the problem with tires is you really need a local sale otherwise shipping makes it uncompetitive.
Good to know! Yea I have yet to experience Cup 2s on the track as it's been too cold the couple times I've been out.yes and no, I've bought plenty of sets and had them shipped for under $1200, it really depends on distance for shipping.
