THAT Shelby is the one and only “Flying Mustang” and everyone who can remember or has seen pics of it, will tell you it’s not just the fact that Ken Miles drove it, it was the introduction to Shelby and the GT350, period….

This is what folks remember of THAT Shelby, and it’s every bit of important in the S550 world as it is the Classic Shelby world, because without it and that race, the GT350 or Shelby Mustangs in general wouldn’t even be a discussion today…

I didn’t think the hammer down price was insane on that Gt350, it was to be expected due to its linkage and historical value and significance to the automotive hobby/world.

What I did find “out of place” so to speak was the (2) 1993 Mustang SVT Cobras that were bid to and beyond $100k. These were “standard” 1993 Cobras, they were not rare colors and were not low SVT Build numbers either. These also were NOT the 1 of 107 Cobra R’s, which normally hammer for $100k+.

$100k for a standard 1993 Cobra - was the food or drinks spiked at that event??!! LMFAO….

That was crazy - 100K for a Fox Cobra - WTF? I saw that and said "You paid what for what?"

Not a damn thing. But I just seen that also and thought it was crazy it pulled that much and awesome at the same time.

In my opinion I think it was a very interesting thing to post . After all , none of us would have the badass Stangs we now enjoy if not for "THE GRAND-DADDY " that started it all to begin with .. Lets show a little respect for the FOREFATHERS , Don't hurt a bit ,,,,,.. Thanks for sharing it to the "POSTER"

The numbers at Mecum Kissimmee were insane - who are all these people with all this money buying automotive sculptures?

They are "Trust Fund Babies " Idiot Snobby -ASS Movie Stars with more money they don't work for , and Obscene paid Athletes that think all that $$ they have gives them "A BRAIN " . What's a few 100K to a Pitcher that makes 15 million a season . Ex-Ranger from Japan "DARVISH " 15 mill. per yr . @ average , without injury they get 30 starts per season . That's Half Mill. to walk out to the Mound . Don't matter if he lasts 7 innings or 2... Still same $$$ . No wonder rest of the WORLD hates US !! And How much do we pay the People that educate our KIDS ? NOT POLITICAL ...JUST FACTS
