Measurement of gap between the hood vents on MY18

Bit of a random request,

Can anyone with an MY18 measure the gap (at narrowest point) between the hood vents.

I would like to find out the widest dual stripes you can go between them without going under the vents

[MENTION=6592]BigWormGraphix[/MENTION] has these. I'd guess about 9.5" is the widest you could go with 1" gap.

They might be able to help you with the actual measurement though.

I think they are Slightly wider stripes then the GT350, but not quite wide enough for my tastes, and from pics I’ve seen of their stripes on an 18, I believe it could go wider.

Like you said, I think the widest will be around 9.5” but I would like to be sure (9.5” will pretty much be perfect if you can)

So based on this, using a one inch gap, I should be able to go with 9” wide dual stripes and still have room for a 0.25” pin stripe.... Nice!
