McMustang Meet #3 19th Feb

Hi guys and gals

Ok, I was going to get a meet up and running this month, however, there are a few, well one, [MENTION=27602]KevD[/MENTION], who may not have their car by the end of January.

I'm looking at meeting up around the Kenmore/Aberfeldy area, suggestions welcome for a suitable eaterie. This should provide interesting, scenic drives from the south, west, east and north of the country for members.

Usual format, meet up, talk Mustang, kick some tyres and do a bit of white water rafting (the last bit might not happen ). Then maybe a little drive to unusual and exciting places :shrug:

Still to work on the detail but as always, I'll be there anyway and, obviously, it'll be weather dependent.

So, usual procedure, name and +1's, for finding a suitable place to gather that's big, or cosy enough :first:

I don't do Facebook, so all I would ask is that if anyone is only posting on Facebook :shrug:, to get someone to fire your name on here for booking purposes.

There is a road that takes you from Amulree to Kenmore over some mountains (Glen Quaich) which might be great to drive, weather permits. Yes it is single track road but very very little traffic. Was there a week ago and only had one car from the front. Spectacular views from the surrounding areas on the highest point. Not much stopping places now that i think about it. Just incase someone (Bernice) wants to take some Stang photos. Some very tight corners and and a couple steep climbs. Done it in the pickup and was ok. Should be a doddle for a Stang.

Glen Quaich, last time I was on that was with the RX8 club, one lad had an 'off', he was ok, the car was written off though. Weather was atrocious though and he wasn't driving to the conditions :(
