19s fit these cars well. Its less than a 4% difference between the two, they both look good.

I think it's all dependent upon the wheel design. Some with spokes that go very close to the outer edge can look visually bigger and tend to look best in 19s, but make other wheels look too big in 20s. In my opinion, something about the proportions of the 18+ can make 19s look too small in back or 20s too big up front.

I haven't seen it much, but a 19/20 stagger on the front/rear can look killer if done right on these cars.

I think SROhlms is right. I think on wheels that have spokes that extend to the end, 20s look to big in my opinion. Anything with a lip, I'd do a 20. I did this on my own personal car. I went from the 6GR wheels in 20s to Forgestar F14s in 19s and I love the Forgestars. They fit the car so much better. I always thought the 6GR looked a little too big on the car.

I have 19s on the front 20s on the back, loved this setup but heavy pp1 wheels and replica 20" rears. Looks great on this car Im going to 20's front and rear now with velgen classic5 v2s. 295 35 20s front 305 35 20 rear.

I tried convincing myself to stay with 19’s when going with aftermarket wheels. Within 6 months I had 20’s on order. I find 19” to be a bit small for a car the size of the S550. Felt and still feel that 20” is more in proportion. There is no right or wrong just individual opinion.

I like them both but 19s look like the intended size for the body style. 18s look a little too small, 20s have that wagon wheel feel about them. Just my take.

I feel ya — I also do 20s for summer and 19s for winter and often stare at the car wondering which diameter I like best. I’m leaning towards the 20s looking best on yours; same conclusion with mine (for now).

Here’s mine with 20s:

And with the winter 19s:
