Cool information and thanks!Today the x 3 2015 test vehicles sold between $62-63K and the R went for $83.5K at Mannheim for anybody wondering.
Bear in mind, these are dealers snapping up these cars. This is not a prediction of the value of non-PP 2015s.wow way cheaper than expected
Here's the original post with info on the cars!Cool information and thanks!
Any idea of the chassis numbers for any of these cars and how many miles were on each one?
I would suggest that the 2015 PP cars would have substantial miles on them but just speculation on my part?
Great point about dealers purchasing these cars and with that we can only imagine what the ADM's will be for these 2015 PP cars once these PP cars get back to their respect dealership lots!!Bear in mind, these are dealers snapping up these cars. This is not a prediction of the value of non-PP 2015s.
Give PP0001 some time and he'll figure out the specifics on the PPs.
To your point dealerships are a lot more educated nowadays on these PP cars.Yep. Not an indication of ADMs dropping anytime soon. These are purchased for resale, mostly.
That is a beautiful car!To your point dealerships are a lot more educated nowadays on these PP cars.
I remember getting a call back in 2012 from a dealership offering me a 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca at which time I asked for the chassis sequence number (LSXXX) as I only wanted either a very early or very late chassis car so they had to call me back as they didn't know where to locate the chassis number.
Long story short once they located the chassis sequence build plate on the intake manifold they told me that there was no LS chassis number but a number that only said "PP0001" along with the matching VIN and asked me what it stood for?
I immediately told them that it stood for "SOLD" and to put the keys away in a safe place and the rest is history with that car being the 1st of 12 PP Boss 302's built and the 1st and earliest built Laguna Seca sold to the general public.
Interestingly enough 6 months later I found PP0002 (PW Boss 302) on that same dealership lot as again they did not know what they had and once again asked to put the keys in a safe place until I got there 3 days later. With supposedly the other 11 PP cars left out there I had no idea what I was buying until I lifted the hood and low and behold it was PP0002 and the first 4 seat Boss 302 to be sold with both cars built way back in 2010.
Only the first 5 PP cars were released with #6 to #12 being destroyed.
These PP 2015 GT350 and 2016 GT350R's will command a nice dollar in my opinion and I sure would like to have one!
If you get a chance to locate one I personally would jump all over the opportunity.
Aside from the driving experience once you own one of these PP cars then finding out their background and what purpose in life they had at Ford is a lot of fun!!
