I have the Roush active exhaust ready but the kit was like $1600.00 and i`m tapped out for mods this year. Yesterday installed some Badlanz exhaust cutouts in the rear and it makes the car so quiet on startup and the cop that lives across the street will be able to sleep in. The great part is you can close it just a little or a lot. I have a wired switch so you can control it from the console and not that 1950`s radio knob. Cop pulls up and 3 sec. later your quiet as a mouse. Its all pre-wired from badlanz on Ebay. $225.00 and very good quality. I was thinking H pipe all the way to get rid of the resonator which could be holding me down on power. Oh and you get a 5 year warranty too.

Do the two bolt flange bolt up to their three bolt cutout?

I would think so, but can't confirm. Hopefully he will confirm this.
so ive already talked to them about it weeks ago. the center to center of the Roush 2 bolt flange is 4-1/8ish the pattern per Charles Gets president of badlanzHPE told me direct, the 2.5 diameter is 3 inch from center to center 3.0 is 3 3/8 3.5 is 3 7/8 so none of them would bolt to a 4-1/8 flange

Just checked my pics from when I did mine and you are correct. Around 4 1/8" center to center for the Roush flange. Well, that stinks.

Ok I bought the 2 1/2 cutouts and drilled 2 new holes. I will say that the welding inside the pipe was rough and needed some grinding but they work great. Here are some picks of what I did.

Oh and mount them sideways and run the wire though the drain plug in the trunk so no drilling.

Looks good man! At least we know these CAN be used with mild modification.

One thing im not sure about is that on a Ecoboost it might have smaller pipes as these cat backs seem to be much cheaper than the ones for the 5.0?

The kit I had was removed from a 5.0 Roush car. All piping was 2.5". I wouldn't think they'd want the expense of 2 different sized kits.

I found this on the Roush web site so they are not the same cat backs but I still cant tell why they are not the same.

  • Fits 2015, 2016, and 2017 Mustang GT's with premium chassis packages only (Trim levels - 400A) v8 only

You got me. Idk why they'd be different other than how they connect up front.
