Good point, but along the same lines, this is the first mass production FPC Ford has put in a car, so you would think if you're gonna showcase technology, show case it right.

Looked under the hood of a 2014 Z/28? Looks much better than the 350... Just saying.

No fucks given about under hood appearance. This car sounds orgasmic!

I completely agree with you. Unfortunately I haven't had the luxury of seeing a z28 in person yet. However at the same time I'm glad they didn't do the complete opposite and give us a decorated engine with a clear hood scoop, such as the latest C6 ZR1. That didn't look good at all to me.

A new intake manifold in the style of the Cobra Jet or Boss 302 would fix the engines looks!

I certainly do hope that the production models come with a more appealing under-hood appearance and not the tacky riveted on SVT badge... unsightly awful appearance to a pony supercar. C'mon Ford... my 2007 GT500 and 2013 Boss look so much better under the hood!!!
I certainly hope so too, cuz the wow factor just isn't there without some type of engine cover. Let's just hope this is due to being a pre-production car.

I don't necessarily need a cover, but some cable management would certainly help. I'm hoping the routing will be addressed as they move to production. I like my cabling well organized.

I'm glad the aesthetics aren't the focus on the car and a lower price is a focus. Hopefully like they say I will be surprised at how reasonable the price is. I also hope lots of people don't like the engine's appearance so that I can get one sooner.
