So you had a Mach 1 manual, then you took a ride in your dads taycan and sold the Mach 1 manual in exchange for a Mach 1 automatic because you thought it will be quicker than the taycan? And now after you already ordered the Mach 1 automatic it came to your mind to check if your assumption is right? Is that the story or did I miss anything?

Sorry, let me fill in the details. I had the manual but sold it after six weeks because I live in a city and the manual was just too much of a pain. So then I decided to order an A10 because I thought it would be better suited for the city, but still fun when I got out on open roads. I was just curious how it would stack up against the Taycan. Sorry for the confusion.

What if I go Whipple? I thought the Mach 1 was like the top Mustang track car?

that would be GT350/R or GT500 neither of which we get here by official Ford route.

Want to go really fast really quickly, buy a 1 litre sports bike. Kill just about everything in a straight line

The OP said Taycan Turbo, which is "670" hp. The Turbo S y'all are thinking about is "750" hp. I put quotes because all of Porsche's cars are quicker than their hp suggests.

That said, C&D tested the Turbo S and got a 130 mph 1/4 mile trap speed, and it weighs 5200+ lbs, which means it's making more than 750 hp. The Taycan Turbo should be about 125 mph with 70 less hp. So, the Taycan Turbo (and Turbo S) will easily beat the Mach 1 which is only 470 hp in 2022.

I run 5.09(personal best) whippled 60-130 and trap like 144 in the 1/4. The taycan S 7.86 60-130 and 129 mph trap.
