Barrett Jackson just sold 001 for $500,000. The write up on their website said it had the handling package, the car on the block did not have the handling package. $500,000 crazy!

If I had enough money that $500,000. was a drop in the bucket I still wouldn’t spend that money for 001. I’d rather surprise some close friends with their dream cars, Mustangs or not. I have some friends that have REALLY helped me when I needed it and I would really enjoy paying them back in such a way! Oh well back to reality, I’ll fluff my pillow and go back to sleep and dream some more!

@Atlas1 and others, This was for charity, complete write off any amount over the sticker price.

it went to the juvenile diabetes research foundation which FORD has supported for many years.

the other cars mentioned, bullitt, GT500, etc same results for same charity.
