Had the opportunity to attend the GT500 track tour in Sonoma yesterday and they had a Mach 1 on display.

Looks really good in person and a contender for me vs. GT350 purchase.

It’s the grey fighter jet. They told us the orange stripe was an homage to chuck yeager.

I just wish they would have put some lights in the grill where there are spots for it. Or made that some kind of cool air intake.

My wife and I met Chuck at a Cabelas years ago (98 or 99 maybe) he was signing autographs. As we walked up, he saw my wife and asked jokingly if she was with me. Then told me good thing he not younger or that she was not around in his younger days. She absolutely loved him. Me not so much, just kidding of course. A true honor to meet him and shake his hand. Still have that autograph, might keep it in the glovebox if I get the FJG with Appearance Package.

FJG is soooooo light....too bad it's not more like Dodge's Destroyer Gray, which I love.
