I considered a Mach 1, despite already owning a GT350, cuz kinda wanted to add a supercharger and an A10, but thought I would be destroying a Shelby if I did that to mine (not sure why but would feel less guilt doing a Whipple if I had the Mach) . And while a Mach 1 is really sharp, the front end and the decals aren't my personal taste. I am eyeing GT500's 2nd hand, but concerned how folks drive them. but it seems smarter to do just that. My wife loves the GT350 and talks me out of selling it, but if an eruption green GT500 with black stripes ever comes down the pike at 90k or less......well.....its gonna get ugly

Believe me, driving or even being in that glorified Pinto was not fun and it wasn’t cool either. Could you imagine having purchased a new 70 Mach and then seeing THAT come out? I was a kid, but it must’ve been shocking.

I don't know if a sound out of the exhaust is worth the ticking time bomb that is the voodoo. Think Ford knew before putting it on sale and why it is named that.
It be fun in 20 years with all the auction claims of numbers matching voodoo's.

the Mach 1 is the Pinnacle of 5 liter performance. the best Coyote S550 ever made. a 350 is not going to "handle" better. it comes down to the engine, it's sound, and those revs AND opinions.

Hi - Yes, at times it’s a bit like a broken record but that’s part of what a forum offers - input from various perspectives. We can always stop reading a particular thread if we get tired of it by optioning out or just ignoring it. The only thing that bothers me is when the insults start flying, but that happens in many phases of our lives…. Bruce

Guess then I should be terribly disappointed that I regularly get offers for my 2019 GT350 (upgraded to 550 hp with no state inspection impact) Kona Blue/White stripes for at least $20,000 over what I paid for the car. I have no interest in selling the car, it's way too much fun, even next to my Corvette C7 Z06 w/710 hp. Obviously no one would offer me the similar deal if I had a Mach 1.
Had a whole bunch of 1969/70 Mach 1's so I have nothing against that model range.

Love that color. I have Ford Performance Blue which I also like but that dark blue is nice as well
