Mach 1 handling package order lead times

So it’s looking like orders for Mach 1’s with the handling package are taking longer than cars without it. Was wondering if any of you who have ordered handling package cars would be willing to post the date Ford accpeted your order from the dealer, and either your current scheduled production date, or the date your car was actually built. Maybe if we get enough information from enough of us, it will become apparent whether or not the handling package really is causing a delivery problem.

Ford accepted my order March 22 and the most recent production date estimate is Aug 16.

Not sure if you are interested in the earlier builds but my car was accepted Jan 15 and finished on April 6 per the Ford email

3-27-21 changed to 5-10-21
4-15-21 changed to 5-17-21

5-6-21 changed to 6-14-21
5-20-21 changed to week of 6-28-21, the last one.
Blend date was 6-24-21 and got the car is being built on the tracker. no Email.

Car is built email yesterday 6-28-21.

They have delivery between 7-16 and 7-22. Hopefully it will be early.

Latest email from Ford August 23 for production although when I call Ford performance number the production date is always a week earlier it seems.

First off thank you everybody!

Looks like a few of us ordered at very different times but are all backed up to mid-August production, wonder if they are waiting on a shipment of (wheels? spoilers? Cup 2's?) and plan to build all of our cars when the shipment arrives.

HP, appearance pkg, M6, rear seat delete.

You ordered before me. I was confirmed on 3/16, but mine is built. Only difference is mine is automatic and has elite package, navigation, and I have no rear seat delete.

Maybe manual, or rear seat delete, caused it to get pushed out?

I did hear the RSD was pushing some orders out but I didn't order that. That leaves the Tremec, hmmm. Did a quick Google search and found this in a May 28 Bowling Green Daily News article about C8 Corvette delays:

GM’s production of the eighth-generation Corvette was disrupted first by the strike and then by the coronavirus pandemic that stopped assembly lines and has since contributed to delays in getting transmissions and other Corvette parts. The plant was shut down this week because of delays in getting parts from the TREMEC transmission plant in Michigan.
