For us PP2 owners who choose not to step up to a Mach 1 I wonder if the wheel opening extensions on the handling package will be available through Ford parts. Looks like it will solve the rock chip problems.

I can’t visualize this.

I do have the jaeger bros splash guards but the issue is they do not cover the width of the entire wheel

you don't need to cover the wheel width, rather block the trajectory that sends rocks into the bodywork. I don't see why the Mach1 fender lips wouldn't be a discrete part - it's an easy target for damage and thus will require replacement. The Camaro guys got smart and started putting C7 GS lips on their cars.

In August, I was told by Carl Widmann that the extensions would be made available at some point...probably through Ford Performance. Just have to keep checking for them, as I don't imagine there will be any kind of formal announcement made about their availability.

I've been thinking the same thing. They'll probably be hard to come by in the beginning.

is your Google broken? They are plainly obvious on the Handling-pack on the front wheel wells.

you think that looks better than the splash guards? I have my entire front end covered in PPF. I emailed auto fanatic and he said his guards are wider than the jaeger bros versions. See my pictures. Issue is rocks getting thrown to the rear of the car. Not up at the fender

Going to try the auto fanatic version

Dom418 I have the Rokblokz and they have done a great job of keeping rocks off my paint so far.

my pictures are of the Jaeger bros, you are saying the rokblokz will give more coverage? Of so I may give that a try

I read here on the forums when I got my PP2 that the Rokblokz were the best brand out there.

I said nothing about it looking better or being more effective. The primary role of the Mach 1 lips is to mask the front tire poke like your picture nicely shows. I like RokBlox over ZL1-Addons for mud guards. I also put PPF on the leading surface of the rear haunch where things get thrown against.

You can see the Rok on my car here:
