These are what the Cobalt Friction XR2 front pads look like.
These look like they will do the job. I have the DS1.11 and these are at the same level on the conversion chart. I have had only 3 track days on my DS1.11's (now at 75%) but I am a lot happier than when on the Brembos (which I felt were awesome anyway). Please let us know how these work out. Wear factor and how they are on your rotors.

Have you tried running a cool lap or two in the middle? Do the tires come back? I haven't tried GY tires yet but the SC3 is on my list for my street/backup track tires once I use up the SC2's and my current street tires.
Yes I did. I actually took out some air and the tires do come back. Note these GY are 305 all round on Apex lighter rims whereas the Cup 2's are on factory wheels staggered 305/315.

Just curious… What hot pressures are you targeting?

This was eye opening for me, but I was provided some Michelin,, tire engineers, printed material on the Cup2 tires. These recommendations are based on what's best for optimal tire life.
Recommended starting i.e. cold tire pressures NOT below 30 PSI.
Hot pressure anything up to 39 PSI is acceptable.
This provides optimal tire life at a small sacrifice of slightly less grip. I used to start 26-27 cold and aim for 34-35 hot. Now I don't really worry about it that much and found that it only cost me about 0.5 seconds per lap. It's worth the trade-off.

I’m surprised its only worth 0.5 sec. I’ve been starting even lower and shooting for 32 hot for best grip. Something new to try.

The manual says less than 36 psi for HP and I do around 33-34. At 36 psi at one track event I found they (GY) got greasy after a few sessions and when they cooled off and I dropped the pressures they felt better. I purchased a infrared temp gauge and measured the inner, mid and outer after a session and the heat was pretty balanced. So believe the pressure was good. But this is not a pyrometer where you supposed to measure inside the tread but I found the pyrometer's quite expensive so opted for 2nd best. Maybe I wasting my time measuring the tire temp with the infrared but it gives me a general idea (I hope).

33-34 hot pressures may be a pretty good balance of performance and wear. If they’re feeling greasy it could indicate the pressures have increased outside the optimal range. Bleed down after a session and chase it as the weather changes. Take notes and learn what you and your car like. Truth Is there are sound principles but no real silver bullets. Too many variables. And then there’s the driver, biggest variable of them all. 😀

Anyone get a set of these? SM-10RS in 19x11, ET 52 all-around so will need spacers and longer studs up front. Need to decide on tires. Maybe will try a set of SuperCar3 or 3R in 305 size.
