Does anyone have photos of the silver car that's sitting on the rack at NAIAS? It apparently DOES NOT have the carbon fiber track pack. There's one lousy photo on jalopnik and the alloys look like they're Ford GT inspired.

Iā€™d go for that color in a heartbeat

The silver one without the track pack is also missing the winglets on the outside of the front wheels. Overall I think the GT500 is a huge leap forward for the Mustang because of the DCT. The DCT isn't an automatic. I know some have said they want a six speed, but I also suspect people would be upset if the Shelby didn't have the DCT. I suspect the Easter egg dashboard released a while ago provides the expected performance numbers. 755hp, 221mph top speed.

If the Ford GT achieved 216mph with its lower weight/hp ratio, and much better aerodynamics, its unlikely the GT500 hits 221mph.

rear tail lights with the "bend ends" from 2018 refresh.
front lights with the old style straight lines on running lights.

nitpicking, but they should match up.
I quickly noticed that too.

What's up with generic looking rear spoiler and these side flares on the front fascia?
At first glance I thought the black stuff in the side flare was the same material as the black foam tucked inside the fender by the door hinges of a regular GT... but it is vents and hard plastic.

Yup, heres a picture of the bottom of the GT500, no way in hell this car will be close to the top speed of the GT.
I'm sure it will do 200 mph which the previous GT500 could not prove in the owners hands.
All the super cars today have flat sleek underside, aerodynamics today has been the focus all around the car, not just in places you can see.

Great shots of the car.
I think the DCT is cool, but I still prefer 6 speed manual.
I love the look and wing so thats cool.
Wish we had numbers after the long wait.
Its not enough to give up my GT350R
