M4 CSL copied Mach 1's design homework?

I was actually thinking the same. It's obvious that when Mach 1 has one stripe, BMW must double dare and put two stripes on it

This colour combination is too crazy for me, when they wanted to pay homage to the original CSL, they could have done it much better colour-wise.

You either love it or hate it. Me personally, I love them... but I must have weird taste. I hated the front end of my supra and everyone talks about how beautiful they are. That car only looked good from the back to me lol.

The color schemes are definitely similar. The main difference though is that Mach 1 is tastefully retro while the new M4 took design inspiration from a retarded beaver.

I am actually getting new glasses in a few weeks.
But, the color, the style of the hood and side stripes, the side profile, especially the side windows...
I see a lot of similarities, even with my old glasses!

No doubt. The S550 M1 HP will go as one of the best Mustangs ever made. It’s already an instant classic, and those that have driven one, know exactly just how special it is.

Of course, I am a little biased.

BMW have great performance no doubt but they are so bland looking, they look the same year over year(with occasional ugly face lifts). I think only Porsche has mastered the classic design for years. BMW never appealed to me and no offense the exhaust on most of them sound like ass. Of course there is M lovers on these forums don't get offended, not everyone drools over an M car, like I said the performance is great but that's about it in my book.

Yep agree Beauty is in eye of the beholder no doubt. I don't think its fugly but its not pretty either its just ehhh.

The front end of the G8X cars has grown on me. I wouldn't say I love it, but in person somehow in my eyes it works. However, I would still end up switching out the front end for the Vorsteiner front end.

As a former owner of not one but 2 E92 M3s I agree...

Not many people like the beaver tooth grille it seems. I kinda like it, it’s different and stands out which is my taste anyway. My neighbor behind me has one, all black. The teeth don’t stick out as much on an all black car but still noticeable. Never been a huge BMW fan but it’s a beautiful car. I’d still take a Mach 1 or GT350 over an M3 any day.
