Actually same here about adding power. The x-pipe adds 9hp and saves approximately 20lbs. Next will be long tube headers and a tune. Beyond that, only weight savings items and moving the battery to the trunk.

As for sound, the M1 stock sound is awesome, we’ll see about this x-pipe.

Ok, no video yet but I just took it for a spin, all I can say is, holy crap this thing is quick and sounds awesome

Interesting. I went with doing exhaust wrap through that area and further back. It was more to avoid heat transfer into the diff which I have heard being the bigger issue with these cars

So I dusted off my GoPro Hero3! The problem is the mount really sucked (I mounted it to a bar, secured tightly to the passenger seat headrest) the bad news is the passenger seat is not stable. So the video is just super bouncing. The other issue is you can't even hear the sound because of the sound pickup of Hero3.

I told a few people to film me down shifting to turn 5 and accelerating up to turn 6. No video has surfaced yet.

But it does sound really good!

Looks good, it should help some. However for best results, really think you need a Rear Diff Cooler. Here's the photo of my Diff temp on a 75 Deg day, not even close to getting hot. (photo taken 3mins after session ended)

Here's the video of a lap in the 2021 M1 HP with x-pipe. Turned a 2:32.5 at Road America. Hero3 sound is terrible, so is the camera mount and the stock seatbelts.

That's 143mph at the end of the front straight (my Boss302R was 151mph)
