That tire is a trailer tire. While its great for our heavy cars, its insanely heavy. I swapped from that tire to the new et street r front in the same size. Like 12lbs lighter each. HIGHLY recommend. Its also a touch shorter too, which makes it fit better in the wheel well. I always thought the SR was a bit too tall.

MT shows 18# each for those, which should be 7.4# each less than the S/R's. At least both are rated for the S550 Front weight. The 26X6X18 are not rated for our cars, even at 50psi.

Yes, 28" not 26".
Correct, looked at wrong tire. Your vehicle though is nowhere near the maximum load so the pressure should be adjusted based on vehicle weight which I believe can be found online.

65-70psi should be all it needs, but 80PSI should offer less rolling resistance. I saw on other forums that guys use 70# all the way up to 95#. I don't want to run them at
max.

I weighed them and had it wrote down somewhere. Was a tick over 11lbs on my scale.

M/T says 75% of the max psi. So 71 psi. Mine are at 70 psi haha.

If the vehicle weighs 3865 and 53% is on the front each front corner weighs
1024. 1024/1650*95=59psi.
Or am I off base on figuring it that way?

Also have to figure in driver/passenger weight. I'd say that weight is about right for my car, but probably a good 150# more on the front for me, and If my friend comes about the same for him. I am 330# myself.

Turns out the 28" SR is too tall. It rubbed one of my fenders, so I'm not able to use them with Steeda's drag springs.

Its a big ol tire. If MT made that in a 27in diameter that would be perfect.

I run mine at 62-65psi street driving. At the strip, I will bump them up to 75-80. On stock ride height. Anything more and the ride gets a little harsh IMO.
