Does anyone know why the new Ford Performance rear seat delete kit is only for 2018 and newer? I have a 2017 and would really like to get one. Is there something different about it that it won’t fit? It looks the same.

According to @Tomster It's the same rear seat delete for 15-17... see this thread:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...-delete-first-look.167138/page-3#post-3602663

The only variance that I can recall is the 2021+ will throw an airbag code if the rear seatbelts are removed, which is discussed here:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/rear-seat-delete-questions.43235/page-2#post-3304448

The original Ford Performance instructions obviously did not contain the future 2021+ rear seatbelt info - so maybe the instructions have since been revised, which may explain the "exclusion" of the 2015-17 reference in the online item description?
