For the majority of purposes it is. The stock turbo needs no help spooling, however you can still get power out of it, it's just not going to coming from that turbo. I suspect it was blowing nothing but hot air and the meth and nitrous were keeping it rational.Didn't the "best" tuner say nitrous would do NOTHING for a stock turbo? Lol
I've been running nitrous on top of maxed out turbos for over 10 years. There will be no difference in air temperature, you're not working the turbo any harder. In fact you can back it down 10-20k rpm and not lose any appreciable performance. There is some cooling effect from the nitrous, but if you do the math on it, it's pretty small. Meth can do appreciable cooling though.For the majority of purposes it is.
