hey guys
I did a small video to compare SOUND
between
LHT HEADERS+ATAK3 BORLA catback (it comes with xpipe)
vs
LHT HEADERS + ATAK 3 catbak +BORLA RESONATOR (instead XPIPE)
BACK TO BACK AT 1:03

it does reduce A LOT THE SOUND
changing it tho to a deeper tone ( almost like an HPIPE.

the RESONATOR IS REALLY A FREE FLOW ONE.
maybe can help some of you ..maybe not

but it is an easy swap to do to 'FIX HIGH SOUND ISSUE'

I like it! Both setups sound really good, but Iā€™m partial to the combo with the x-pipe.

They sound so different but both attractive. I prefer x pipe but many tracks won't pass sound and on the street will..attire many people eyes :)

They do both sound good.
Did I notice on your header to mid-pipe connections that you retained the factory 2.25ā€ slip connections ?
Yep. The system is 3" after the xpipe.

Ok, so the Dyno numbers you posted a few days ago where with;
1.875ā€ LT brand headers, LT Flex pipe connect (what size are the header connection that have the braided flex ?
Then factory slip (2.25ā€) and 3.0ā€ to the tailpipe tips.

Sorry for all the questions. Iā€™m brewing up my own home built 2 merged into 1 oval (size to be determined) x diverged 2 out.

Please post pics and video when youā€™re done. Listening to a Musts g with aftermarket pipes never gets old. There are just so many sound combinations.

Iā€™m working up the nerve to slice up my new CORSA XX-pipe.
Do it brother! Worst case scenario is youā€˜ll have to replace an x-pipe. Iā€™d say that wonā€™t be too terrible if things go bad. ā€œ$200-$300 more dollars for a new pipe and youā€™ll be back on the road in no time!ā€
