Hello I am new and I want to ask you what options we have with lowering springs for 2020 Shelby?

I want to keep magnaride shocks.

I like to disassemble things.
I think Sam Lippencott from Coastal Chassis Dyno & Performance can speak to the drop the BMR springs offer. IIRC, he's done a number of GT500's with BMR springs.

I would like a coil over type spring adjusters and keep the electronic shocks.

Seems like there's only two or three options for handling springs. The First is CFTP springs or Steeda Dual Rates & Linears. As a HUUGE Steeda fan, it pains me to say this because I love buying myself steeda prizes but I'm probably going with all Ford parts for this build whenever I can.

If it wasn't for this CRAZY used car market, I would have lost my shirt selling off my GT with all it's aftermarket parts. Trade in and Carvana offers were $6k less with mods than in Stock form. I was so nervous, I wasn't even sure I wanted to commit to buying the GT500. In the end I sold my car for more than I paid for it and I didn't lose any real money on my part out. Ford parts for me and I'm not selling any take offs just in case, lol.

The problem is that they don’t sell the suspension kit alone only if you buy the full car SE conversion.

I believe you can get it directly from the manufacture. Shelby’s suspension tune is proprietary, but swapping the springs alone can’t be any different than doing any other spring and not changing the suspension tune.

I didn’t know Steeda had a spring for the gt500. It doesn’t show on their website under the G500 tab. While I’m sure their standard S550 springs would work, I’m curious of their testing on an actual GT500.

I think the site is a little behind. AFAIK they are just the same magnaride springs that'll are for the GT350 & Mach1.

The rear springs on the GT500 are wound in opposite directions, side to side. So they have different part numbers. I don’t think that is true for the GT & Mach1?
