Low RPM stumble

2026 so thought i would bump this.

Stock manual 2017 and I have this issue.
Also happens in neutral, it hesitates at bit at 1400 rpm both going up in revs and when the revs drop.

I’ve been experiencing the exact same issue since I got the car. I’ve tried multiple fixes, including replacing the spark plugs, checking the fuel injection system, and running three different tunes — one of them from VMP — but the issue still hasn’t been resolved. All tuners could not find any issue.

What’s strange is that it only happens occasionally, not all the time. While searching for leaks, I did find a vacuum leak, and fixing it helped a little, but the stumble/hesitation is still present. It happen in 3rd gear at low RPM.

Where was your vacuum leak ? Just for something I can double check or may have missed.

I have a Roush CAI, and the air leak ended up coming from the tube between the throttle body and the air box. I fixed it by tightening the clamp on the throttle body side as much as possible and adding some wire harness tape to help create a better seal and prevent any additional air leaks.
