Oh, hi. So are you guys working on the pulley and a tune now?
The pulleys are available. Tuning is in the works and we will release more info about it once they're available.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

Thanks!

Go ahead and ask the professional drivers that were involved in the testing and development of this car and see what they say.
Yea I saw that. Like I said I'm waiting to hear from the guys that buy one. Something tells me if you had a 2020 GT500 and a 2020 GT350R parked beside each other in the garage at least 90% of the time you would pick the 350R when you go for a spin!

Yup. It's video game city now! I don't even think you should be able to get a license if you can't drive a manual!

Don't have any plans to be there at the moment. What event is being held there?

LP: I've seen that clip and it was very informative but I was asking your opinion of the comparison in driving experience between '13/'14 and '20.
I didn't spend nearly as much time with the new car as I did with my 2013 GT500 but my overall opinion is that the new one is way nicer and way more refined than the 13-14 cars were. The S550 platform in general I feel is nicer than the S197. We're talking about a 6-7 year difference in technology. Once our car shows up I'll be sure to do a full review for everyone.

It's a HPDE weekend hosted by the Audi Club. 4 groups.... group 1 pros/racers, group 2 instructors/advanced, group 3 intermediate, group 4 beginner

BTW, is that event open to the public? Seems like a fun day trip since I'm right up in St. Augustine (not to participate, just as a spectator).
Yes. Come on down

I plan to have both of my 2 seat cars sitting right beside each other in my garage and quite honestly until I get some seat time in the GT500 it will be difficult to determine whether I would share driving each of these cars on a 50/50 basis or might prefer one much more over the other.

What you might prefer in a HP Mustang might be totally different from myself or many other enthusiasts and if you would pick the R model over the GT500 I get all that but would suggest that at least drive the GT500 before you have written it off due to either a two peddle car or because it comes with FI.

I have been very fortunate to have owned numerous GT350's and Boss 302 cars over the last 6 or 7 years but can honestly say that driving my 2012 Boss 302 "PP0002" that has been one the most and if not the most rewarding driving experience that I have been encountered over the last 50 years.

It was the first Pilot Production 4 seat Boss 302 built back in October 2010 and even though I only put on ~2500 miles on this car over a 5 year span before selling it to a terrific friend and enthusiast somehow this car and myself just bonded over that time period with both of us having a great time with each other.

Of course knowing a great deal of its provenance such as it attending 16 NASCAR races during the 2011 race season starting in Daytona and ending in Homestead and feeling the quickest, fastest and best sounding of all my Boss cars certainly helped with our bonding process. The exhaust systems for each of the 5 cars that survived of the 12 PP cars they were all hand built and when the TracKey was activated it was absolutely awesome sounding from 5000 RPM all the way up to 7500 RPM and that happened a great deal during our close friendship.

I am also a 3 peddle guy and a NA engine guy on top of that but I cannot wait to spend some time with my new GT500 and will then decide which one of my rides gets the most road time.

PP: MAN, that's a pretty car! (I'll always love white vehicles.) And I'm old enough to remember when the first Boss hit the scene. It certainly hasn't lost its luster.

Oh and, nice reserved parking spot at the country club. ;-)
