Hello, I have 2017 Mustang GT with the 20x10.5 rear. I just got my rear tires ripped, and looking for new rear summer tires. I will not be going on track, just going to be daily and maybe few road races. Are there any recommendations and the tire sizes? I am currently thinking of Mickey Tompson street comp or Nitto nt555 g2. with sizes of either 285 or 305. Would be nice if I can get some help.
Thank you all in advance!!!

I've got the Nitto nt555 g2's and I really like the how much confidence they inspire in the handling of the car.

I had Cooper Zeon RS3-S tires before, those were good budget tires, IMO.

I did the same setup as PP
255/45R19 x 275/40R19 staggered
It's slightly bigger diameter in rear than stock which helps make the negative take on this car stock

The Nitto NT55G2 for fun driving and daily driving is a great blend and the pricing isnt bad either.

I would say do the Nitto NT555 G2's, only issue they have been in back order for a bit now... i have 6 order pending with Nitto.

But i would suggest them for sure once they are in stock to jump on them brother.

Nitto NT555 G2's, huge upgrade over the Pzero's. Couldn't be happier with them.I run the 305/35's on 19 x 11's on rear, and 285/35's on 19 x 10's on front. In my opinion I think the 10.5 is too wide a wheel for the 285's.
