Trying to figure out what to do with the next set of tires since it's almost time.

I daily my GT350 so the smaller sidewall of 305/30 makes me nervous but it's also the only size that has available tires. I was looking at ExtremeContact Sports, NT555 G2s, and PS4S. I would love to see what this setup (305/30 square) looks like on stock rims with stock ride height.

Iā€™m running 295/35 square ExtremeContact Sports on my stock non-R rims and I like them very much. Here is a picture of the 305/35 Cup2 (mounted) next to the Conti 295/35. (Not yet mounted)

i'm running Nitto NT555 G2, 305/35/19 on all 4 stock GT350 rims. not the best pics, but hopefully they provide some perspective on fitment. this i my daily driver as well, and so far, the setup is working fine for me. first pic is right after i washed the car.

Those look great. They also look like a wider design than stock tires.
Iā€™ve got about 7200 miles on my OE tires so Iā€™ll be looking soon.
How are they performing for you?

Oh man this is one of the setups I was wanting to do since they make the 555 G2 in a 35 ratio sidewall and I ideally wanted to keep that.

I was worried there would be extra bulge in the front but this looks great. Did you lower yours?

Nope-nope-nope... his car only looks so good because of the side stripes!!!!

I tend to agree with his design choices:

Ooh side stripes are nice! Now that I see yours the white gt350 seems like it has larger than 19in wheels!

in my opinion, there's no extra bulge; however, the front sidewalls are more squared vs. rounded (stretched with the Cup2 tires), but that's ok with me.

nope, i'm still stock 19 inch rims that are powder coated in black chrome. i'm waiting on a set of 19 inch 6gr 7-spoke, gloss black rims in 11 (front) and 11.5 (rear) inch widths. i anticipate the G2's will lose some "square-ness" with these rims.

thanks for the compliment :). i believe the Nitto G2's are wider than the michelin Cup2 in 305/35/19 fitment. so far, performance is good for my usage; since i don't track my car, i can't opine on track performance. added a few pictures to better illustrate the look, fitment, etc. the last pic is the rear tire, and the others are the front driver side tire.

@cortez Is your car lowered? The fitment is clean, looks really good!

Glad to hear they are the stock 10.5in and 11in rims, I think Iā€™ll grab those for my next set.

I can't speak to the 30-series sidewalls since I run MPSS 305/35r19 on all four corners, but here's a couple pics of them on the 2019/2020 non-R wheels, which seem to have the same size and offsets of the earlier wheels.

I feel like the 305's up front fill in the wider gt350 fenders better than the stock 295's did

Running 305/30/19 square setup on OEM wheels (Steeda dual spring rate springs)

not sure those pics will help in any way, but with a good geometry, the square setup plus firmer springs transformed the car.

As far as appearances are concerned the 20's on your car look great. What rims are those? They really set the car off!
