Looking at these 4 wheels for the Bullitt

I am on the fence, but after putting the Whipple on, the stock 275 Michelins are not keeping the tires from spinning when accelerating hard in 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd. So, I'm looking at just a set for the rears, which would be the bottom or a full set of any of the below.

Please give me your opinion on which of these you would use. If you have a different favorite, please list it.

When my stock rubber is gone I will probably upgrade to the Shelby cs11, imo they look the most “oem” and you can fit a 315 on them no problem. If I had to pick between the above. I would go the black without the bolts. Look like a pain to keep clean and the bolt look never did much for me

Ya, I just went from 305/30/20 to 315/35/20 in the rears on 11” wheels....huge rubber!! Perfect now!!!

Those look amazing!
Are they the steeda McQueen wheels?
You waiting on the 5spurs center caps?

At this point I am going to stick with the stock rims. Looking to pick up a pair of stock Bullitt rears which I will put 285 drag radials on.

Going wider means that rocks will kick up on the paint or have to use those cute, cool looking mud flaps.

I was unable to spin the bias ply Mickey Thompsons when I went to the DS. With 19 psi the stuck like glue at the strip and that's with 650 rwhp.
However they are not a tire to drive on other than just to the strip and back.

If you want more traction with the stock width rims, go with a larger diameter tire. 285/40 would give a bit more dia. (around 0.30" taller) and width, but 295/40/R19 would be a bit more if that size is available in the tire you want. Both are incrementally larger and wider so it probably won't be a night and day difference, but should be better than the 275/40/R19. The larger diameter tire creates a larger contact patch (longer from front to back). Larger diameter tires will change your speedo a bit (and your odometer as well), too.
