Longer OEM O2 Sensors or O2 extensions for Long Tube Headers?

I'm about to get some Kook's long tubes installed on my Mach 1 and I was curious to see if most people use the extensions that Kook's provide or is it better to use longer O2's instead? Is it the front O2's that need the extensions versus the rears? I read somewhere that people were using F-150 O2's in the front to get around using extensions. I just wanted to confirm before I bought something. I searched a bunch of O2 threads but most of them were about burning out O2's, E85 and angled use and some were about the 6.2L Raptor O2's for the fronts.

IMO, I’d rather not introduce another electrical connection with a plug-in patch cord style extension.
Bosch or NTK F-150 front O2’s get it done at the factory connection point.

Head over to Rock Auto, pull up the item description and image file to verify connection style, but yes there was a connector style change on the Gen3

I installed Kooks and did not use the extensions for two reasons:
1. Did not want to introduce a new connection as GregO said.
2. Didn't need them, on the M1 there's some slack coiled up in the wiring close to the O2 sensor, just unrapped it and had plenty to reach.

Let me find some photos, it will not be an issue.

I used the NTK 27080, which should be F150 driver side upstream. The longest wire harness I could find. I got two of them and installed them with my TSP headers. They were NOT long enough by 3-4” on both sides of my 2019 GT auto. In the short term I’ve had to use extensions until I can get the wiring extended to work.
