As many of you know already, I am moving to the UK in the summer. I am selling my EcoBoost in Greece and I am looking to buy a new GT in the UK. Initially I was looking for an LHD, but it seems that importing it to the UK would be really expensive. So I will settle for an RHD!

Can anyone suggest a dealer located in the London area where I can order my next Mustang from? I will probably be living in Brentford, or around that area, but I don’t mind traveling a few extra miles.

Your suggestions will be very much appreciated.

This... ask for James Rowe - he's sold a lot of people their mustangs, he's got a few '18s in stock.

Not that expensive
I imported my California Special via Canada and it only cost me 2k more then a Euro edition, and has 6k on extras on it, the Euro edition did not have, and still does not have. And with the cheap tax for a import, its now worked out cheaper then a Euro GT.

James at Epsom Ford, not a typical car salesman, not at all pushy and a nice bloke.

Because in my mind an American car should be an LHD. Maybe it’s just me, but this how I feel. Also, in a RHD, I don’t like the way the cupholder is located in the center console, leaving no space for the arm, as well as the fact that the handbrake is still located on the left of the console. All this makes me feel that Ford did half the job converting the car to an RHD.

Thanks. I talked to him, he is a great guy indeed. He already sent me a quote.

So get a Lefty :-), for me it was just because of the extras, and how much I could get the CS for

Each to their own I suppose. I did think about a Camaro when the 5th Gen first came to the UK, but based on my Vette experience I couldn't be bothered with the one-dealer-who'll-give-up-at-some-point again, and a car that was way heavier than my Vette with the same engine, and a car that looked like a Transformers caricature rather than a car, etc.

I've been amazed so far at how much more get-up-and-go the Mustang has compared to my old Vette even though it's heavier, same power but less torque. Shows what a decent gearbox and top-end breathing can do I guess! And the old debate about low-end torque versus high-end power...if you have enough gears you don't need low-end torque :)
