Loew-Cornell Fine Line Painting Pen

Has anyone here used one of these to repair paint micro chips? I've watched some videos and it looks real easy, but thought I'd ask here for pointers.

I have a Dr. ColorChip kit and will use the paint in it, but these chips are so small that smearing the paint in seems like too much.
