Put the 16GT on the rollers yesterday. The little Roush 2300 put down impressive power through the 6R80. No need for a 2650 unless you're looking for 800+WHP. Tune is safe and dead nuts @ 12.5psi @ 7200. I ran many logs on the car to check the tune, and I am very happy with whoever tuned the car previously. Spark advance locked at 17.5 above 6500rpm. I had a 97 octane Torco blend in the tank, but proved non beneficial since the ECU was still adding 5 degrees when I was logging on 93. I will probably have it retuned in the spring with a little more spark advance and maybe a twin 67mm T/B. This is my first PD blower, and after 20 years, and over many high HP builds with centrifugals, this little blower might just be my new favorite. It's pure fun.

Man I felt just like you after getting my first whipple car 2yrs ago. I also came from a 19yr romance with turbos and centri cars. The instant torque of the pd supercharger is addicting for sure.

Cory, that's one nice dyno sheet:thumbsup:

So, dumb question, where did the evap purge solenoid and valve get moved to with the blower install? Bought mine with the same blower on it already, and I need to deal with a P1450 code.

And yeah, PD blowers are fun to drive.

I have NO idea. This is my first PD setup, and it was actually on the car when I purchased it.

Awesome numbers and this gives me hope on what my car will put down soon! I'm currently running the Phase 2 Kit with 80mm pulley, BBK LTH, Corsa Extreme and a 6 speed car making 648/544. I have a JLT but haven't installed. Waiting for some tax sales to purchase the ID1050x, VMP fuel system and will have a tune for 93 and E85. I'd be more than happy to make 760ish on just 93 let alone through and auto. Looking forward to your track times!

In the for what it's worth department, on your Roush setup the evap purge valve is on the back of the blower case next to the big 90 degree bent tube for the brake booster. Thought it would be in the same place on the VMP setup. No such luck. It's on the driver side behind the air intake elbow, and even my skinny fingers are gonna have a tough time squeezing in there.

I used to be a fan of the centrifugal blowers myself. But now the PD blowers have stolen my heart.

That blower will make well over 800whp if you ask it to. You have a LOT of room left to grow.

Congrats!

Love my Roush/Ford Racing 2.3. Plenty of power, no issues ever, and runs exceptionally smooth.
