Very cool story and thanks for sharing.

Having said that and based on my experience with pre production Ford automobiles which start out as "VP" cars (Variable Production) typically "VP" cars do not come with a VIN and have always been destroyed in the past.

If this vehicle is a VP car I would be very surprised but never say never.

Thank you for asking as that is greatly appreciated as "Hurricane Matthew" was a major concern down in South Carolina.

Both PP0001 and PP0002 came out just fine but I did not have access to them for a couple of weeks due to trees that were down and blocking access to the storage facility where they were domiciled but I was very relieved to see them unharmed last weekend once all of the timber was cut up and disposed of and had access to them.

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control and upon my impending retirement I will be taking these 2 great cars to auction in January.

If they do not go to a good home I will bring them back to S.C. as they both mean way too much to me and have a hard time letting them go.

Yes, the paint on both of them is very good but the Laguna Seca has some acid rain flaws and that is only due to PP0001 (LS) sitting out in the hot sun in Michigan for a few months but otherwise this car is in phenomenal shape and only has ~930 miles on it.

The PW car is flawless and attended 16 NASCAR races in 2011 as a show car (1290 miles) but in any case these cars are what they are and the "Patina" is all part of the history of these great cars.

Hopefully will see you in Kissimmee in January!!

Great to hear they were free of damage. Beautiful cars! I would have a hard time parting with either.
