Are there any examples of that on the forums here? Two 2020's with the same chassis number?
The only one I see in the spreadsheet is LR083. But searching the forum I only find the owner of the Non-HEP saying that is his chassis number. I can't find anyone on the forum saying they have a HEP with that chassis number.
I don't have examples personally, but it just stands to reason. We've identified LR001 HEP-R and the numbers going up incrementally from there. We have HEP L0006 and numbers going up from there. These cars have VINs showing they were produced some way through the 2020 production run, so...

Thanks! No idea, I don't think the car's arrived yet. Any idea on the going rate for ADMs now?
Well, believe it or not, I was informed that there was a HEP R near me at a dealer in SC that I sold my Raptor to and they sold it for $12k over.

It may be still possible to procure a HEP R at MSRP but I would expect that to be a super find given that dealers are vastly becoming aware of what they have with that.

I know, I gave into impulse after driving my buddies car on backroads. I do feel like a fool, but at least I’ll be a happy fool? LOL

You're not a fool and no-one should be made to feel like one for making a grown up decision to buy an exclusive asset. You're in the majority @UpTop and welcome to the club. We all did our best in our individual circumstances and we should feel nothing but happiness and pride for each other.

I made a post about this in another thread but yeah its pretty crazy. I could understand why someone would do it now since 2020 is the last year, and its the Heritage Edition so its way more special. What I can't wrap my head around is that people were paying these same ADMs back in 2015/2016 and 2017ish for a regular GT350 and the GT350R. Not to mention that the first GT350s had issues.

I cant imagine paying 5k-10k over and then watch the updates that they made to the vehicle over the years. I thought the early lip spoilers were really bad and didn't really fit the styling of the GT350. I really liked the improvements they made to the 2019s and I believe hands down the these are the best generation of the GT350s. It's weird that there were people who paid way more than I did for an objectively "inferior" GT350 :giggle: (don't kill me, I don't mean it in a bad way). I'm pretty frugal with my money and hate getting screwed over.

I guess the fear of missing out plays into everything. I definitely appreciate corrieb for making the spreadsheet which allowed us to get good deals and sort through the dumbshit. I feel like I really got a good deal on mine and would be super jealous/pissed if I found out someone got the Heritage Edition for MSRP after I had payed more for my regular GT350.

I feel the same way about the GT500 but I probably already upset alot of people with my opinion and I don't want to be crucified so I won't say anymore :lipssealed:

Speak your mind and stick to your guns. You are entitled to your opinion. At the end of the day as long as you are happy with your ride, that is all that matters.

The 350s were in more demand back then. It was an exciting new model and everybody wanted one. Getting one back then was a lot more difficult than it is now, especially an R.

Yes, I agree. It was very difficult in the early days to find one, let alone buy one. I get the hype over the HEP, it is a special tribute to the original 350. But in terms of an R, I would call the enhancements over the years just that, tweaks here and there. I certainly don't think that the difference in a '15R is astronomically different than a '20R. The base 350's biggest upgrade, IMHO was the cup 2s and the swing/gurney flap. Keep in mind that those are not the R spec cup 2s (yes, they are very different).

Recently, one of our members was forced to put his R on the market. It is a '16 that is as close to being new as can be. It still has a warranty on it until '24 and has lots of extras. The car is rare, one of about 20(something). If I was in the market for an R, I would have a hard on for this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193661272587?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

2016 was a very good year for the GT350. You don't hear of oil consumption, blown engines, etc. Bulletproof IMHO.

For the average Joe, an R is an R IMHO.
