Brace yourselves for a VIN storm. Pulling data right now and it's raining HEPs :)

Jim, I totally get what you are saying as you have had your 2016 Base R for quite some time now and just as you I would not trade my 2018 Base R for anything either.

Having said that I could not think of a better bookend for your 2016 Oxford White Base R than a 2020 HEP R in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue OTT and side stripes!

If you ever want to go down that road please reach out to me after which time I would help you in any way that I could with respect to locating a 2020 HEP R.:fingerscrossed:

Hope that you have been doing well of late as it has been a while since we last communicated!!:)

Hi Harry,
thanks for the offer, I appreciate that! One 350R is good enough for me. At one point I was going to do 2 but then thought I might try a gt500 TP but now having second thoughts on that now. Hard to top a base 350R in fun factor, beauty and rarity.
Thanks for helping everyone out like you have. You're a great asset to the community and enjoy reading your posts.

Totally understand your situation and must say that I am very happy with the two cars that I have but I really hated to give up F0077 within the last month but it was either give up that car or either my 2018 R or my 2020 R therefore it ended up being an easy decision as far as keeping my Base R and my HEP R and letting my 2015 GT350 go..

I realize that you have had your Base R for quite some time and thought that it was a 2016 when in fact it may be a 2017 therefore my apologies if I got the MY wrong?

Appreciate your kind comments but must say that over many years a great deal of very knowledgeable and very experienced people have helped me immensely along the way which includes terrific enthusiasts such as yourself and many others on our forum.

I must also say that I have been able to also establish many terrific relationships with a few select Ford dealerships on both side of the border and some great people in Dearborn, Oakville and Flat Rock therefore just trying to pass along some of what I have learned and experienced along the way regarding all things Mustang.

:clap::clap:

A dealer told me that I will be able to put an order for a HEP R in jan, is that possible? If so, do you guys know when production is ending for the GT350/R?

Not according to this article. Looks like Dec is the end of line for the 350.

Of course, this forum has some very informed experts that may have additional info. Are you sure they’re not receiving their “allocation” in Jan?

After getting the shipped notification last night, 1460 showed up at the dealer this morning. Headed down in the morning to finalize everything and then its off for Paint Correction, PPF, and Ceramic Coating. Hope to get it home by the weekend. Can't wait!

Don’t forget, R’s typically aren’t produced during winter months because of the tire/temp issue.

You can expect that this will certainly not happen any time soon and obviously the Ford dealership that you spoke to has no idea what they are talking about!

The 2020 R's will probably discontinue production sometime in October after which time the 2020 GT350/R's will be the last year for production over the last 6 MY's.

Listen to Harry. You better get one of these gems while you can if you’re wanting to buy brand spanking new. No doubt there will always be the used market but first ownership is a special experience with Ford Performance.
