If anyone is looking to get a car show board made, send me a message. This is one I made for my Heritage Edition. I'll send you a high resolution picture file that you can take to Fedex or Kinkos and have printed on foam board. Dimensions are set up for 22" x 28".

Oh yeah, if we go to the same car show, you can't use yours. 🤣

Wow you placed an order in October 2019 and didn't get it until October 28th 2020?

Damn, you must have been one of the people who got shafted hard lol. Glad everything worked out.

Thats a really nice board, are you a graphics designer? Lol

No, definitely not a graphic designer. More of a trial and error kind of guy.

Yeah, I originally ordered the Oxford white with blue stripes. When the announcement was made for the Heritage Edition, I changed my order. Then in August my dealer tells me that somehow my allocation was gone. They finally got it fixed and the wait was worth it.

I picked it up on 28 October, dropped it off for a 2 1/2 week full body PPF and ceramic, and drove it for about a week. Turned it in last week to get the adjustable front strut mounts installed and they broke one of the parts, which of course is on backorder. So I've not enjoyed my HEP too much. :-(

When you send it, is the format to where we can edit it to include our cars information?

I would add your information prior to sending you the file. All you would have to do is upload it to the Fedex or Kinkos site and tell them how you want it printed out.

What difference does it make? The man has an opinion and deserves to share it just like anyone else. You don't need to have been born in 1914 to have an opinion about how stripes look.
Stop ruining a perfectly good thread.

What do I have 'lots to say'? That its easier to just leave the vinyl stripes on than to get them painted? Lol, I really do have a lot to say then. I guess I need to own a bunch Mustangs and be a Ford fanatic before coming to that conclusion.
You have pretty much answered your own question as it is obvious that you have not owned a number of 2nd generation GT350 Mustang's previous to this let alone having owned a Mustang GT350 with Painted OTT stripes versus Vinyl OTT stripes therefore how would you really know the difference between the two in order to provide some sort of educated feedback?

Again, how many GT350/R's have you owned in order to provide us with some previous ownership feedback?

I have owned both and can tell you that without question that the
the Painted OTT stripes are easier to maintain and ask why you would suggest otherwise??

Wow they lost your allocation? Didn't know that could happen must have been a pain to deal with.

Oh wow yeah the back order is a sucks, I had an issue with mine and the differential was leaking. The part was on back order, but since the car was bran new and the leak was only small I was able to still drive it while I waited for the part to come in which took awhile.

At least you you live in Alabama though so at least you can drive it once you get it back :) I know there are people that are trying to get as much fun as they can before the winter weather sets in.

There is an abundant amount of information about vinyl stirpes and painted stripes. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to know this and find the pros and cons of doing vinyl or painted stripes. There have been improvements to the way vinyl is manufactured over the years.

I simply stated that vinyl stripes are easier to care for because they are replaceable. The cost of replacing them offset the cost of getting them painted, because painting costs way more money, and can go wrong as the process is complicated which is what we have just witnessed.

You don't need to own a bunch of Mustangs to realize this. It is common sense. If you believe that you need to own a bunch of GT350s to come to this realization then there is something wrong with you. You are only making yourself look more like a pretentious dick by gatekeeping. The GT350 is not the only car that has racing stripes. You are arguing and trying to prove a point about nothing. You are the only one who cares. Just stop. If you want to live like its 1965 do it and get rid of your internet.
